Bamenda Old Players Association (BOPA) under the leadership of Wamfor Justice has held its 5th Edition of the it's end of year and Christmas break celebrations with two exciting football matches at the Bamenda proximity stadium.
First game of the day saw two academies clashing. It was Achico FA against Mezam Sports Academy which ended in a 1-1 tie.
The second game which crowned the day was between Bamenda Old Players Association (BOPA) and Veteran Training Center (VTC).
VTC beat BOPA by 4goals to 2.
At the close of the games, BOPA handed some gifts and awards to the academies, as a sign of their values to promoting young football talents in football as well as encouraging them to take school serious.
The gifts handed to the young players included books, envelopes of tokens, as well as presents to outstanding players of the match played at gala.
